Join Us This October for PD
Welcome to October, a very spooky and busy month! We have a lot of offerings this week, including the start of a new Certification Course cohort and a special FAFSA Q&A with Mark Salisbury.
Last Day to Register for Cohort 48 is TODAY!
We are offering FIVE Certification Courses in this cohort. C48 will be from 10/07 - 11/06, with the exam window from 11/8 - 11/15. We are offering 3 LIVE courses and 2 Self-Paced courses.
- The live courses we are offering: Banking & Budgeting, Behavioral Economics, Paying for College
- The self-paced course we are offering: Advanced Investing, Cryptocurrency Basics
Over the next 5 weeks, teachers will be diving deeper into content areas to build confidence and knowledge. Register for a LIVE course to build community with teachers across the country, engage with resources, and have your questions answered in real time. If you cannot make live sessions, register for a SELF-PACED course where you can complete modules at your own pace. October can be busy, but know that you will have support throughout your course.
Fall Challenges & Quarter Badges
If you’re not ready for a Certification Course just yet, join us for virtual or on-demand PDs. You can earn the new NGPF Academy fall quarter badges by completing PD sessions between now and the end of the calendar year.

FAFSA Q&A
This week we will have Mark Salisbury join us for a FAFSA Q&A. Mark is the co-founder and CEO of TuitionFit, an organization on a mission to empower the public to create real college price transparency by sharing actual pricing information. Last year the FAFSA underwent a big change. We are expecting a lot of attention to this year’s release (slated for on or before December 1st). Bring your questions and come learn about the important details, updates, and changes to the FAFSA!

We know that October can be a hectic month, but we hope you can join us for Professional Development. Wishing you and your students a great month! See you in a PD soon!
