FinCap Friday: Time to Talk Taxes

The various tax memes floating around social media are laugh-out-loud funny! Maybe you've seen one that says, "So glad I learned about parallelograms instead of taxes in school since it'll really come in handy this parallelogram season!" Or perhaps the one that goes, "Just did my own taxes and I should be in jail by Monday." While these memes certainly make exploring taxes entertaining and enlightening, they sure don't help us understand taxes any better. That's exactly what this week's episode of FinCap Friday will do for your students. Get ready to cover the basics of taxes and why we pay them below:
