Earlier this month, NGPF announced Mission 2025: a grant program awarding $1,000 to schools implementing a new standalone personal finance elective course during or after the 2021-2022 school year. 

We are pleased to announce that since our launch, 10 schools across the country have already been selected as grant recipients. Please join us in celebrating the educators of the first ten grantee schools where students will soon have access to a one-semester personal finance elective!

Here’s what Marcy Decker (California City High School), who plans to use the grant funds to take her students on a field trip to a financial institution, had to say about the grant award:

“We couldn’t be more excited about this grant and what it means for our students. This personal finance class will help our students broaden their financial knowledge and be better prepared to make sound financial decisions as adults. By providing them the financial education that they need, our hope is that students can take control of their financial future.”
